Barack Obama: ‘I can do the Gangnam Style dance’

Newly re-elected US President says he will dance for wife Michelle in private

President Barack Obama has said that he is confident he can pull of some of the dance moves as seen in the video for Psy’s hit single ‘Gangnam Style’.

WZID-FM, saying that he was unlikely to do the dance in public but that he would show off his moves to wife Michelle in private.

“I just saw that video for the first time… I think I can do that move,” he said of the gallop-style moved pulled by K-Pop star Psy in the video. “I’m not sure that the inauguration ball is the appropriate time to break that out. Maybe do it privately for Michelle,” he added.


Obama secured his second term in office by winning the vote in almost all of the key swing states. The Democrats are expected to hold Senate whilst the Republican party look set to retain the House Of Representatives.

Meanwhile, Psy will address the Oxford University Union later today (November 7). He will speak to students about the success of ‘Gangnam Style’, which has been viewed over 600 million times on YouTube.
