'Pompeii' band will play 10 arena shows across the country this autumn
Bastille have announced a huge UK arena tour for October and November.
The Dan Smith-fronted band will play 10 arena shows up and down the country in support of their forthcoming second album ‘Wild World’, which will be released on September 9.
“I think we’ve really pushed our sound,” Smith told NME recently. “The whole album weaves through these different moods and scenes, going from massive to tiny and intimate and then back to bombastic again.”
‘Wild World’, which features the band’s current single ‘Good Grief’, is the follow-up to Bastille’s chart-topping 2013 debut ‘Bad Blood’, which spawned the huge hit ‘Pompeii’.
Bastille will play:
Bournemouth, BIC (October 28)
Plymouth, Pavilions (October 29)
Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena (October 31)
London, The O2 (November 1)
Leeds, First Direct Arena (November 4)
Nottingham, Motorpoint Arena (November 5)
Manchester, Arena (November 6)
Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena (November 8)
Glasgow, The SSE Hydro (November 12)
