Beach House have announced a full UK and Ireland tour for later this year.
The duo had already booked a show at London’s Roundhouse on November 2 and have now added dates in Belfast, Leeds, Dublin, Glasgow Bristol and Manchester.
The tour begins at Belfast’s Mandela Hall on October 26 and runs until November 3 when the band headline Bristol’s Anson Rooms.
The band are touring in support of their new album ‘Bloom’, which was released on May 14. The album was recorded in late 2011 at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas and mixed at Electric Lady in NYC. The band co-produced the record with Chris Coady, who produced 2010’s critically acclaimed ‘Teen Dream’ album.
Speaking about the album, Victoria Legrand said: “‘Bloom’ is a journey. For me, it is about the irreplaceable power of imagination as it relates to the intense experience of living. A bloom is only temporary; a fleeting vision of life in all of its intensity and colour, beautiful even if only for a moment.”
Beach House will play:
Belfast Mandela Hall (October 26)
Dublin Vicar Street (28)
Glasgow Arches (29)
Leeds University Stylus (30)
Manchester HMV Ritz (31)
London Roundhouse (November 2)
Bristol Anson Rooms (3)
