41-year-old has also worked with Led Zeppelin, Blur and Eminem

Liam Gallagher‘s bodyguard and business partner Steve Allen has been arrested over an alleged death threat, reports the Sunday Mirror.

The 41-year-old was arrested at his home near Southampton and bailed over an investigation into letters allegedly sent to two people due to give evidence against him in a civil case.

Sam Berry and his girlfriend Claire Humphries were allegedly sent letters with bullets in them at their homes in Worcestershire.

“Drop the case, or the next case will be yours,” one of the letters is alleged to have said.

Allen has already paid out over £54,000 to Berry in a dispute over their former business venture, Risks Contained. Berry has three more civil cases lodged against Allen and his company.

Police told the newspaper: “Hampshire Police arrested a man on suspicion of threats to kill and he has been bailed to return to a West Mercia police station.”

Allen is managing director of Gallagher‘s fashion firm Pretty Green and is also involved with the Beady Eye man’s other ventures, Savile Row Films and In 1 Productions.

According to Risks Contained’s website, the firm has provided tour security services to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Eminem, Kasabian, Stereophonics, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lily Allen.
