'It could be worse - it could be Justin Bieber', says Beady Eye man
The controversial monument was unveiled by Fulham FC chairman Mohamed Al Fayed earlier this month (April 3) at the club’s Craven Cottage stadium.
“It’s a bit silly isn’t it?” he commented. “It could be worse, it could be Justin Bieber – but then it wouldn’t be that high would it?” the former Oasis man commented.
The statue has also faced criticism from Fulham supporters, who claimed it makes their team a laughing stock.
Al Fayed told “stupid” fans to “go to hell” if they didn’t appreciate his “gift”.
