Check NME.COM later tonight for a report on Liam Gallagher and co's Glasgow show
Beady Eye have hinted at the setlist for their first ever gig tonight (March 3) at Glasgow Barrowlands.
The gig is the first of a run of six shows, with a second in Glasgow on Friday (March 4). Then they play two gigs at O2 Apollo Manchester (March 6, 7), before finishing with a pair of dates at London‘s Troxy (March 9, 10).
As expected, it includes no Oasis songs and instead features 12 of the 13 songs on Beady Eye‘s debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’, as well as ‘Man Of Misery’, which appeared as a bonus track on the iTunes version of the album.
The set sees the band closing with their cover of World Of Twist‘s ‘Sons Of The Stage’. Ending the set with a cover is a tradition the band members have followed since their days in Oasis. That band often ended their sets with versions of songs including The Who‘s ‘My Generation’ or The Beatles‘ ‘I Am The Walrus’.
