Fans hope for Oasis reunion following news of Beady Eye split

Liam Gallagher confirms split, with many fans speculating as to what the future holds for the frontman

Fans have reacted with a mixture of sadness that Beady Eye have split and optimism about the possible future of Oasis today (October 24).

Liam Gallagher confirmed the news earlier today, stating that the band are “no longer” and thanking fans for their support. Andy Bell of the band subsequently followed up his former bandmate’s message and told fans that he had “had a ball” with the band.

Beady Eye were fronted by Liam Gallagher and featured former Oasis members Gem Archer and Andy Bell. They released their second album ‘BE’ in June, 2013 while debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ was released in 2011.


Following the news of the split, many fans have shared their memories of Beady Eye online while many others are suggesting that the end of the band may fast-forward a potential Oasis reunion. The band split in 2009 while Noel Gallagher is due to release his new solo album ‘Chasing Yesterday’ in March 2015.
