The Beastie Boys will release a new album in June.

“We are in the studio finishing it now,” said the group in an email sent out to their mailing list. “We’re putting the final touches on the mixes right now.”

The rap three-piece have not released an album since ‘Hello Nasty’ in 1998. The album, which spawned the hit single ‘Intergalactic, sold over 3.8 million copies in the US, reports Billboard .


The bands new album will be released on Capitol. As previously reported on NME.COM, the band’s previous label Grand Royal, closed in March 2001, and is currently for sale on [url=]bid4assets.com.
