The Beatles‘ new Lego set of their iconic Yellow Submarine has released to buy today.
Last month, toy fans and lovers of the Fab Four were sent into a frenzy when the new set was unveiled. The 550-piece pack comes complete with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, along with the submarine itself and a miniature of Jeremy Hillary Boob from the ‘Yellow Submarine’ animated 1968 movie.
Now, it’s available to buy from the official Lego website for £49.99 here.
The set was put forward to the idea’s section of Lego’s website by Beatles fan and singer-songwriter Kevin Szeto – before it received the necessary 10,000 votes to go into production.

“I have always been drawn to the music of The Beatles,” said Szeto. “The creation of the Yellow Submarine model was really my way of showing my affection for The Beatles, as well as trying to pay a small tribute to The Beatles phenomenon.”
The description of the set on the Lego website reads: “The submarine features a removable top for easy play, a cockpit that accommodates the included John, Paul, George and Ringo minifigures, two rotating propellers, four periscopes, an adjustable rudder, plus assorted accessory elements that The Beatles have collected on their journey.”
