BECK‘s new album will be released in September.

As revealed on NME.COM yesterday (May 16), the singer has completed work on the follow-up to 1999’s ‘Midnite Vultures’ with producer Nigel Godrich, who’s worked with a host of artists including Radiohead, Travis and [a][/a], and previously produced Beck’s 1998 ‘Mutations’ album.

Now, the records has been given a release date of September 24 in the US, and September 23 in the UK, according to his official website,

A spokesperson told NME.COM: “It’s less acoustic than people might have expected given the way Beck has been talking about it. But it’s still pretty downbeat.”
