Beck has recorded a duet with Beth Orton for his forthcoming album, which is slated for release early next year, the follow-up proper to 1996’s ‘Odelay’.
Last week (July 6), Beck turned up as Orton‘s surprise support act at LA’s El Ray Club. Later in the evening, he joined Orton onstage and they performed the as-yet-untitled song live for the first time.
The gig was filmed and you can see a RealVideo streamed playback at Bugjuice Com.
A spokeswoman explained that Orton and Beck met and became friends at the end of last year when Orton spent some time in LA.
