Beck and Jenny Lewis duet on Rod Stewart’s ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’

The touring partners performed the cover in Redmond, Washington

Beck and Jenny Lewis sang Rod Stewart’s ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ live onstage last night (August 20) in Redmond, Washington.

Consequence Of Sound points out that the two artists – who are currently touring the US together – covered the 1978 hit at Marymoor Park. Click above to watch crowd-shot footage of the performance.

Beck will play next month’s iTunes Festival in London, alongside Robert Plant, Blondie, Calvin Harris and Pharrell Williams. The gigs will take place throughout September at London’s Roundhouse, with Beck appearing on September 2. He will also appear at Bestival and Festival Number 6 following the London gig.

Last month Jack White appeared as a surprise guest at a Beck gig. The singer, who headlined the Newport Folk Festival, finished his own show and then headed straight over to neighbouring Providence, where he appeared onstage with Beck.

Introduced as the “best bartender in the world,” the former White Stripes man performed acoustic guitar and sang backing vocals for a number of Beck tracks during the encore, including ‘Pay No Mind’ and ‘Loser’.
