BAD COVER VERSIONS!

Beck and Wayne Coyne team up for a touching version of the 60s classic - and more comedy covers...

BECK and the Zero 7‘ WAYNE COYNE performed a duet of SONNY AND CHER’s ‘I GOT YOU BABE’ as part of an evening of bizarre covers at radio concert in the US.

The pair are touring together across the US, and made an inpromptu appearance at the KCRW-FM’s A Sounds Eclectic Evening at the LA Universal Amphitheatre (November 23).

Billed to appear at the fund-raiser were Norah Jones, Beth Orton, Beth Orton and DJ Shadow. However, Beck and Wayne Coyne turned up to play, belting out a cover of ‘I Got You Babe’ – changing the lyrics to “I Got You Beck”/”I Got You Wayne”.
