'Tigermilk' re-released to combat bootleggers...

Belle & Sebastian will re-release their debut album ‘Tigermilk’ in May.

The original album was limited to only 1,000 vinyl copies. It was recently estimated to be exchanging hands for 750 pounds. It has been re-mastered and released on CD for the first time. The reissue of the rare debut album comes to combat a glut of poor quality bootlegs springing up all over the world.

The band are currently in the studio working on their fourth album, which they hope to release in late summer with a new three track single preceding it.

Meanwhile, Looper, the spoken word/electronic project featuring B&S‘s Stuart David release their debut album ‘Up A Tree’ on March 8, with a single called ‘The Ballad Of Ray Suzuki’ on February 22.

They play live in record shops at London Talbot Road Rough Trade (March 9) Manchester Piccadilly Records (10) Glasgow Missing Records (11) Edinburgh Avalanche (12)

Isobel Campbell‘s band THE GENTLE WAVES have an album out called ‘The Green Fields Of Foreverland’ on April 5 and a single – limited edition seven inch vinyl – called ‘Weathershow’ on March 22.
