Early and rare Belle & Sebastian videos are to be made available for free via the Internet.

The band have announced they will archive all their video promos to date on the website [url=]www.belleandsebastian.icrunch.com. The videos include the 1997 promo for the rare ‘Dogs On Wheels’, which has only had a few public showings, as well as material from the band’s recent press conference at the Ten Rooms in London.

Also on the site is a competition to win exclusive Belle & Sebastian artwork, and the opportunity to purchase tracks from the band’s new album, ‘Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant’, which was released today (June 5) through Jeepster. The site is expected to be fully completed later in the week.

Belle & Sebastian recently enjoyed their biggest chart success to date with the single ‘Legal Man’, which entered the charts at number 15. Speaking to nme.com at the band’s Top Of The Pops performance last Thursday (June 1), vocalist Stuart Murdoch said the band had no idea what the follow-up to ‘Legal Man’ would be, but it would not be a track from ‘Fold Your Hands…’.
