Belle & Sebastian played two songs on US late-night show Late Night With Seth Meyers on Monday night (June 22).
The Scottish group, who have been shortlisted for this year’s Scottish Album of the Year, performed ‘Allie’ from latest album ‘Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance’ and ‘Sukie In The Graveyard’ from 2006’s ‘The Life Pursuit’. Watch both performances below.
‘Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance’ is their ninth studio album and the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Write About Love’. It was produced by Ben H Allen III (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley).
Meanwhile, Mad Men actor Jon Hamm recently appeared onstage during the band’s set at Bonnaroo Festival. The festival took place in Manchester, Tennessee, with the Scottish band performing on June 13. During their performance, Hamm took to the stage and proceeded to try and throw gummy bear sweets into the mouth of frontman Stuart Murdoch.
Last year, the Scottish indie-pop icons picked up the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the 2014 NME Awards.
