Belle & Sebastian to curate ATP festival in December

Bowlie 2 will take place this December

Belle & Sebastian are set to curate a three-day All Tomorrow’s Parties festival this December.

Named Bowlie 2 – in reference to the Bowlie Weekender, which the band curated back in 1999 – the event will feature performances from around 40 bands, all hand-picked by the Glasgow indie group.

The original Bowlie Weekender was, in effect, the first ever ATP festival, and Bowlie 2 is set to mark the end of year-long celebrations of a decade of the events.

The festival will run from the December 10-12 at Butlins Holiday Centre, Minehead. The first bands on the line-up will be confirmed on March 29, which is when tickets for the event go on general sale.

There will be two ATP festivals this December, with the curators for the first weekend (December 3-5) to be announced on April 9. For more information see
