Benicassim 2018 announces first headliner

The annual Spanish festival will held from July 19-22 next year

The Killers have been announced as the first headliner for Benicàssim 2018.

The Spanish festival, which is located in the town of Benicàssim near Valencia, will be held from July 19-22 next year, with early bird tickets on sale now.

Benicàssim have now revealed the identity of their first headliner for 2018 in the form of The Killers, with the Brandon Flowers-led band adding yet another major European festival to their 2018 tour itinerary in support of new album ‘Wonderful Wonderful’.

As well as recently confirming a headline slot at TRNSMT 2018, The Killers have also announced two UK stadium shows for 2018 – see details of those live dates below.

June 23 – Swansea, Liberty Stadium
July 13 – Bolton, Macron Stadium

Late last month, The Killers were joined on stage by New Order‘s Bernard Sumner during their gig at The O2 in London.


Playing their second consecutive night at the capital’s huge arena venue, The Killers first performed a cover of Joy Division‘s ‘Shadowplay’ before later being joined by Sumner during the encore for a rendition of the 1986 New Order track ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’.
