Big beat pioneers return with live shows and album...

Bentley Rhythm Ace have confirmed their first live shows in support of their long awaited second LP ‘For Your Ears Only’, which is released on May 29 through Parlophone.

The Bentleys will appear at Manchester University on June 1, followed by Leeds Metropolitan University on June 5. Tickets cost #8 plus booking fee. Ten more dates are currently being finalised across the country.

The band are currently finalising the tracklisting for their new album, which features collaborations with ex-Black Grape singer Kermit. Kermit sings on ‘How Did I Do That’ and ‘A Lot Of Stick But Not Much Carrot’, the first of which is being tipped as a future single. Other tracks which are being considered include ‘Barry Normal’s Eyes’, ‘Jim’ll Twist It’, ‘Do The Christmas Rush’, ‘Summer Song Blue’, ‘Duckweb And Fishlip’, ‘Businessman’s Lunch’, ‘Madam Your Carriage Awaits’ and ‘T-Spot’.
