Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino to guest on New Found Glory album

Band announce addition of cat-loving vocalist to 'Radiosurgery'

New Found Glory have enlisted Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino for a guest spot on their new album ‘Radiosurgery’.

The Florida punk band are currently in the studio laying down the album, and brought in Cosentino to lend her skills to an as-yet unnamed track. Guitarist Chad Gilbert wrote on “We are totally pumped to have her guest on our record. We have been big fans of her band for a while now.”

Gilbert went on to explain that the two bands met when Best Coast performed at the Troubadour in Hollywood. “Since then we’ve been buds!” he wrote. “It’s refreshing when you meet a band you love that inspires you and they are actually cool people too! If you haven’t heard their new album ‘Crazy For You’ yet you are truly missing out. It rules!”

New Found Glory are now three weeks into the recording of ‘Radiosurgery’, with the band stating: “We had more of a vision for this CD than any other. The vision… to record songs that make everyone get up off their asses and have a good time.”

Best Coast released ‘Crazy For You’ in 2010.
