Eminem and Kanye West lead Spotify’s list of the best work-out songs of all time

The perfect tunes for your new year, new me regime

Eminem and Kanye West have both been named as being among the artists behind some of the best work-out songs of all time, according to new statistics released by Spotify.

Timed to coincide with the popular time of year for gym sign-ups and the establishment of new fitness regimes, Spotify have given their take on the best songs to exercise to by utilising their streaming stats.

Eminem’s ‘’Till I Collapse’ has been named as the top work-out song among Spotify users for the third year in a row, with his 8 Mile track ‘Lose Yourself’ taking second spot. Kanye’s ‘Stronger’ and ‘Power’ are ranked at number three and four respectively, while the top five is rounded off by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ ‘Can’t Hold Us’.

While the top work-out song for people aged between 13 and 35 was Eminem’s ”Till I Collapse’, Spotify users aged 36 to 55 have a more traditional favourite when it comes to work-out tunes: Survivor’s ‘Eye of the Tiger’, which of course featured in the 1982 film Rocky III.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Kanye West had pulled out of headlining Coachella this year due to an issue with the festival’s main stage.

Eminem, meanwhile, recently revealed his favourite diss tracks for a seasonal-themed “12 Days of Diss-mas” on US radio.
