THE BETA BAND have re-scheduled the dates postponed on last month's sickness-plagued tour...

THE BETA BAND, coverstars of NME‘s July 25 issue, have announced replacement dates for those postponed last month.

The band were forced to abandon the second half of July’s UK tour after their itinerary was disrupted by singer Steve Mason’s ill health. The fully recovered Beta Band have now re-scheduled the dates and will play Aberdeen Lemon Tree (September 23), Edinburgh La Belle Angele (25), Glasgow G2 (26), Liverpool Lomax (28), Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (29) and London Electric Ballroom (30). The Beta Band have also confirmed they will start recording fresh material for their debut album in the autumn. Preceding that, however, the band’s label Regal is collecting all the tracks on their three acclaimed EPs – ‘Champion Versions’, ‘The Patty Patty Sound’ and ‘Los Amigos Del Beta Bandidos’ – on to one CD album.

‘The Three EP’s’ album will be released on September 21 with a full tracklisting of ‘Dry The Rain’, ‘I Know’, ‘B&A’, ‘Dogs Got A Bone’, ‘Inner Meet Me’, ‘The House Song’, ‘The Monolith’, ‘She’s The One’, ‘Push It Out’, ‘It’s Over’, ‘Dr Baker’ and ‘Needles In My Eyes’.
