Beyoncé soldiers through gig after getting hair caught in fan – watch

The singer continued to sing the encore of 'Halo' while security guards tried to extract her

Beyonce soldiered through a gig in Montreal last night (July 22) after her hair got tangled in the blades of a fan.

The singer, who was playing the city’s Bell Centre as part of her Mrs Carter world tour, was performing her track ‘Halo’ from an audience pit when her hair got stuck in a fan. She carried on to sing her encore regardless, as security guards tried to pull her from the fan, which was positioned on the edge of the stage. Watch fan-filmed footage of it above.

Earlier this month, Beyonce told off a fan during one of her concerts after she spotted him filming the performance. During a recent gig in Atlanta, she took a break from singing her ballad ‘Irreplaceable’ in order to reprimand the crowd member. “You can’t even sing because you’re too busy taping,” she said to the man. “I’m right in your face, baby. You gotta seize this moment. Put that damn camera down!” She then knocks the device from his hand and gets him to sing along with the track. “Yes, that’s much better,” she said.

Major Lazer producer Diplo recently claimed that Beyonce has scrapped her new album and begun work on it all over again. The producer worked with Beyoncé on her hit single ‘Run The World (Girls)’. “The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand new ideas. I like to work from scratch, [but] sometimes I get called in to fix records,” he said.
