Beyonce to Frank Ocean: ‘Be free. Be yourself. Be in love’

Beyonce has revealed her support for Frank Ocean in an online statement.

Posting on her blog at Beyonce.com, the singer put up the below picture of the Odd Future member and singer and wrote the following words across it:

Be fearless. Be honest. Be generous. Be brave. Be poetic. Be open. Be free. Be yourself. Be in love. Be happy. Be inspiration.

The post also led hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons to state that he was “profoundly moved by the courage and honesty of Frank Ocean. Your decision to go public about your sexual orientation gives hope and light to so many young people still living in fear.”

Writing on Twitter, Ocean’s mother Katonya Breaux Riley called her son “the most incredible human I know”. She wrote: “Thank you to all who have shown love and support. My son is the most incredible human I know. Honest, true and loving. We appreciate you!”

Frank Ocean recently unveiled a brand new song called ‘Sweet Life’. Scroll down to listen to the song, which is taken from his first official album, ‘Channel Orange’, which is due out on July 16. He will make his television debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight (July 9).
