Hillary Clinton says she is a fan of Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’

The former US Secretary of State was asked about the star’s latest album during an interview

Hillary Clinton has revealed that she is a fan of Beyoncé’s latest album ‘Lemonade’.

The Democratic presidential candidate was asked if she had seen the film accompanying the record by Taylor Swift during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday (May 24).

Clinton replied: “I have seen parts of it, and I do like it. It’s great.”

The former Secretary of State is reported to have visited Beyonce during a video shoot in L.A. in March. She was also previously asked whether she would rather be president or Beyoncé at an Iowa town hall in December. “I want to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer,” Clinton said in response.

Beyoncé attended a Clinton fundraiser in New York last May, according to Bloomberg. Her husband, Jay-Z, previously endorsed Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential races.

Kanye West is also rumoured to be a Clinton supporter, with a new report claiming that he is among the biggest donors to her presidential campaign.

According to latest Presidential campaign fundraising figures, according to Buzzfeed, West donated an unspecified amount to Clinton’s team, along with other famous names like Matt Damon, Tom Hanks, and Jessica Alba.
