Tweets have suggested that the baby's name means 'Lucifer's Daughter'
Over the past day, Blue Ivy Carter’s name has been picked apart on Twitter, with some users of the social networking site suggesting that the name Blue stands for for ‘Born Living Under Evil’, while Ivy is there to mean ‘Illuminati’s Very Youngest’ or ‘Illuminati’s Victorious Youth’.
Other rumours suggest that the name Blue Ivy is a nod to the devil, as spelt backwards the names read Eulb Yvi, which some have said is Latin for ‘Lucifer’s Daughter’. However, says E Online: “In actuality, those letters joined together mean absolutely nothing, and certainly not Lucifer (as it happens, that is already a Latin word, so any translation would be redundant and result back in… Lucifer.)”
Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their daughter into the world at a hospital in New York on Saturday (January 7). They released an official statement yesterday (January 9), saying: “We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.”
The couple said the baby was delivered naturally and weighed seven pounds before adding: “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.”
