Jay-Z reveals details of Beyonce’s miscarriage in song for new daughter

Meanwhile, Lenox Hill Hospital deny the couple paid for private wing at the facility

Jay-Z has revealed that his wife Beyonce suffered a miscarriage before becoming pregnant with Blue Ivy Carter.

The rapper posted a song called ‘Glory’ online, dedicated to his new born daughter and which contains the lyric: “Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear/But nah baby you magic”. You can hear the song by scrolling down and clicking below.

Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed their daughter into the world on Saturday (January 7). They released an official statement yesterday (January 9), saying: “We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.”

The couple said the baby was delivered naturally and weighed seven pounds before adding: “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.”

Beyonce had reportedly hired out and redecorated a wing at the Lenox Hill Hospital at the cost of $1.3 million (£843,000) in order to give birth in peace, but now representatives of the New York hospital have said that this is not true.

TMZ reports that a spokesperson for the hospital said: “The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations.”

They added: “The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days.”

A man was allegedly stopped from visiting his premature babies by Beyonce‘s and Jay-Z‘s bodyguards. The allegedly heavy-handed security guards apparently repeatedly stopped Neil Coulon from visiting his newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit, according to the NY Daily.
