L’Oreal denies lightening Beyonce’s skin

Cosmetics company says it did not manipulate pic

Cosmetics company L’Oreal have issued a statement in response to accusations that they lightened the colour of Beyonce’s skin in a current print campaign.

“We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L’Oreal Paris altered Ms. Knowles‘ features or skin tone in the campaign for Feria hair color,” the company told Associated Press via a representative of Beyonce.

The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer who recently married Jay-Z in New York City, will not be commenting on the controversy beond the statement that came from L’Oreal.

Beyonce has been appearing in L’Oreal advertisements for seven years.
