third week today (July 20) with ‘Crazy In Love’, seeing off
Benassi who enters at two with club anthem
‘Satisfaction’.
And Beyonce sees off all-comers yet again on the album
chart for a third week with ‘Dangerously In Love’.
On down the single chart, there is cause for celebration for The
Coral who score their biggest hit to date at number five with
‘Pass It On’, two ahead of new Irish boyband
D-Side at seven with ‘Invisible’.
There are no other new entries on the top 10.
A little further back, Super Furry Animals record a hit
at 13 with ‘Golden Retriever’, one ahead of veterans
Jane’s Addiction who return at 14 with ‘Just
Because’.
There are a flurry of entries in the 20’s starting at 22 for
Yomada with ‘You’re Free’ while
Murderdolls go in at 24 with ‘White
Wedding’, Killing Joke with ‘Loose
Cannon’ at 25 and Polyphonic Spree with
‘Soldier Girl’ at 26.
With little other movement on the chart, one-time All
Saints pair Appleton see their stuttering career
come to something approaching a close. New Single ‘Everything
Eventually’ staggers in at 38.
There are no new entries on the top 10 on the album chart, but
Kings Of Leon climb from five to three, sending The
Darkness down to four. Manic Street Preachers
enter at 11 with new greatest hits set ‘Lipstick Traces – A Secret
History Of…’.
