Beyoncé rumoured to be releasing new album in April

Reports claim the 'Formation' star may also record another new LP with husband, Jay Z

Beyonce is reportedly gearing up to release her new album this Spring.

After unveiling new single ‘Formation’, its groundbreaking video and performing with Coldplay and Bruno Mars at the Super Bowl 50, reports have claimed fans could hear a new LP from the star as early as April.

According to HitsDailyDouble, the singer “is close to making a new worldwide, multi-album deal with Sony Music” adding that “the final release under the current deal is now set for April”.

The website also suggests that Beyoncé might also record a collaborative LP with husband Jay-Z, stating: “There are rumours of another Beyoncé album in 2016, this one a joint project with husband Jay Z.”

Her new album will be the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Beyoncé’, which she dropped by surprise.

While we wait for news of her record, the former Destiny’s Child star is set to kick off her Formation World Tour on April 27 in Miami before she arrives in the UK in June.
