Readers have been voting on their favourite album of her solo career
Beyoncé’s self-titled 2013 album has been voted the best of her career to date by NME readers.
Quizzed on which of the US singer’s five studio albums is best, readers voted unanimously for ‘Beyoncé’. The album polled nearly 50 per cent of all votes cast and finished comfortably ahead of 2008’s ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’.
‘Beyoncé’ was released as a surprise to fans in December 2013, arriving complete with a music video for every track. It features the singles ‘Pretty Hurts’ and ‘Drunk In Love’.
NME readers voted ‘Beyoncé’ predecessor ‘4’ as her third best album with ‘Dangerously In Love’ and ‘B’Day’ trailing the rest. The full results can be seen below.

Beyoncé is rumoured to be releasing a new album in time for her 2016 The Formation World Tour, tickets for which go on sale next week.
As reported, Beyoncé has announced a world tour for later this year off the back of her Super Bowl half-time show appearance alongside Coldplay over the weekend.
The singer recently released her new single ‘Formation’, as well as unveiling its video. The Formation World Tour will begin in North America in April and arrives in the UK in June.
Beyoncé will play UK lives dates during June and July before more shows in Europe through to the end of July.
UK and Ireland dates include shows at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, Principality Stadium in Cardiff, London’s Wembley Stadium, Old Trafford in Manchester and Glasgow’s Hampden Park. Tickets go on sale next Tuesday (February 16) but O2 Priority Tickets can be purchased from 10am tomorrow (February 13).
