Beyonce to launch her own platform shoes

Singer teams up with Giuseppe for new footwear

Beyonce is set to launch her own platform shoes.

The singer has teamed up Giuseppe Zanotti to create the footwear, described as an ”ultra-thick platform” with a stiletto heel, which is set to go on sale in the next couple of weeks.

Italian-born Giuseppe – who worked closely alongside the star and her stylist during the collaboration, told Vogue magazine: ”Beyoncé has very clear ideas – she knows exactly what she wants.

”The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer – she’s complete.

“Few are like Beyonce. I’m working on finalising the shoe with her stylist right now. And Beyonce will then say what she likes and what she doesn’t like. It will be one shoe only.”

In the past she has launched her own ready-to-wear line, House of Deréon, with her mother Tina Knowles in 2004.

She later teamed up with her sister, Solange, to release a junior line entitled Deréon in 2006.

Earlier this year, Beyonce launched her own vegan meal delivery service with her trainer.

The singer, who participated in the 22 Days Nutrition challenge with husband Jay Z in 2013, was inspired to team up with her trainer Marcos Borges for the new service, 22 Days Nutrition.

The service is based on the philosophy that it takes 21 days to break a habit and the 22nd day signals a fresh start. The meals, which cost $9.76 (£6.43) to $16.50 (£10.88), are entirely plant-based and do not include gluten, soy, dairy or GMOs. They are delivered to homes once a week, and customers can either buy packages for one, two or three meals a day.

Sample dishes include curried Indian cauliflower and sweet potato bowl, sesame cabbage lentil bowl, and ratatouille pasta with pesto.
