Biffy Clyro pledge to show off their ‘big pot bellies’ onstage when they’re old

The band also have around 22 new songs written for their forthcoming sixth album

Biffy Clyro have vowed to carry on performing shirtless, even when they’re in their mid-50s.

The Ayrshire trio have promised that they’ll still be performing in two decades time, even if they stop selling records completely. Frontman Simon Neil said:

I think it’s highly likely you will see us at 55 years old with big pot bellies and our shirts off bouncing around the stage, going fucking crazy.

In an interview in The Guardian Neil also said:

Even if we stopped selling records completely, we couldn’t stop being in the band. We’re a family and why would we want to break this family up? We still have all the passion we ever had and we’ll never be on autopilot.
