Simon Neil surprises festival with shock new hairdo
Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil shocked the Reading Festival this evening (August 27) by taking to the stage with his hair dyed a dramatic blonde.
The singer resembled the Greek god Poseidon, having dyed both his hair and giant beard blonde for the band’s Main Stage set, completing the look with a pair of bright pink trousers and little else.
Neil admitted he was impressed with the crowd out on what was the band’s eighth appearance at the festival.
“Day one, everyone still looks sexy,” he told them. “By day three it will look like a whore’s nightmare!”
Biffy Clyro played:
‘That Golden Rule’
‘Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies’
‘Glitter And Trauma’
‘God & Satan’
‘Who’s Got A Match’
‘There’s No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake’
‘Born On A Horse’
‘Many Of Horror’
