They were among early highlights at the two-day live event in the town’s Moor Park.

Speaking of their step up to the mainstream event, Simon Neil told NME.COM: “We’ve come of age! We’re the heaviest band on the bill, but it didn’t feel weird.”
Biffy Clyro played:
‘Love Has A Diameter’
‘Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies’
‘A Whole Child Ago’
‘Glitter and Trauma’
While Beth Ditto denied there were any plans, she was full of praise for last night’s performance.
“Oh my God, it was the best show of all time,” she told NME.COM. “It was the best show I feel The Gossip have played. It was uh uh uh and bananas. Bananas and confetti!”
Meanwhile, The View were out in force checking out bands before their before their performance tomorrow (May 20), returning to the Big Weekend after playing last year in their hometown Dundee.
Kieren Webster told NME.COM: “It’ll be a good performance tomorrow. We played last year in Dundee, and so far today has been really good.”
