Surrey gig is at same venue where Blink-182 played
Biffy Clyro have announced an intimate acoustic show in association with Surrey record shop Banquet Records.
The show on October 9 at Kingston’s Rose Theatre is at the same 900-capacity venue where Blink-182 played acoustically in June.
Tickets for the show are limited to two person and are only available in person from Banquet Records in Kingston from 10am on Friday (July 8).
The same day sees Biffy Clyro release new album ‘Ellipsis’, the follow-up to 2013’s Opposites. The trio are joint headliners with Fall Out Boy at Reading And Leeds Festival in August.
Biffy Clyro’s only other scheduled UK show is at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park for Glasgow Summer Sessions on August 27. The Bellahouston Park line-up also includes Fall Out Boy, Wolf Alice and Cage The Elephant, while the day before stars Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Richard Ashcroft and Circa Waves.
Other Banquet Records shows include Shura at Kingston club New Slang (Hippodrome) on July 7, Michael Kiwanuka at local church All Saints (July 16), Bear’s Den at New Slang (July 21), Moose Blood at Rose Theatre (August 4) and Wild Beasts at New Slang (August 25).
Previous Banquet shows have included Foals, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Savages and Franz Ferdinand.
