Big Sean’s star-studded Detroit gig features Eminem, Lil Wayne and Danny Brown – watch

The 'Finding Paradise' show at Sean's home town gig had a few special moments

Big Sean‘s hometown Detroit gig on November 6 involved an impressive array of guests, including Eminem and Lil Wayne.

Eminem, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf, Royce da 5’9″ and Trick Trick all joined Sean for a rendition of ‘Detroit v Everybody’, taken from Eminem’s ‘Shady XV’ compilation, released last year.

Lil Wayne also made an appearance, starring in ‘Deep’, taken from Big Sean’s ‘Dark Sky Paradise’, as well as the pair’s collaboration on DJ Khaled track ‘How Many Times’. Wayne took the mic himself for a couple of tracks, too, performing ‘A Milli’ and ‘Rich As Fuck’ solo.

Eminem recently announced his return to the live arena, as a headliner at the South American Festival Lollapalooza in 2016, shows that will mark his first live appearances since 2014.

Sean has been in the headlines for less impressive reasons this year, too, however, after students at an American university campaigned to have the rapper banned from campus.

A popular petition at Princeton University alleged Big Sean promotes rape culture, saying:

“In the future, [the undergraduate student government] should strive to bring non-misogynistic acts to campus.”
