Viral grime sensation Big Shaq has responded to Noel Gallagher‘s invitation to take him on the road.
Last month saw Gallagher reveal that his children introduced him to Shaq (real name comedian Michael Dappah), the man behind the viral hit ‘Mans Not Hot‘. Gallagher then said that he would love to play some shows with Shaq.
“I came back from New York the other day and I was in the kitchen with my two lads who, as you know, are ten and seven,” said Gallagher. “I told one of them to take his hoodie off while he’s having his lunch. He said – and I’d never heard it before – he said, ‘Mans not hot’.
“I was like, what? And he went, ‘Mans not hot’. And I went, ‘Who’s not hot?’. And he went ‘Man’.”
“That’s my guy there. My brother Noel,” Shaq told Radio X in response.
Quizzed on if he would play shows with Noel, Shaq said: “Yeah I think it will be special for the people, you know. We gotta give them something eplectical and electical and electrical”.
Saying that he wants the show to be ‘dangerous’, Liam added: “It can’t all be 90s stuff, man. We’ve got to mix it up a bit. I’d like to get Skepta playing, have something a bit different.”
