Fictional rapper Biq Shaq had a moment last year when his debut single ‘Man’s Not Hot’ became a viral hit, amassing over three million global streams.
The track gives a shoutout to ‘the Lynx effect’, and today Big Shaq’s creator, comedian Michael Dapaah took to Twitter to show off a new toy – a talking can of Lynx.
It gives a ‘Man’s Not Hot’ soundbite every time he sprays it.
He debuted it in a video clip, with the caption: “The real ‘Lynx’ Effect in action. Who would actually get 1 of these ??”.

Big Shaq is a character from Dapaah’s online comedy series ‘Somewhere In London’.
Shaq’s appearance on Charlie Sloth’s ‘Fire In The Booth’ session on 1Xtra cemented his stardom, and he gained a fan in Jeremy Corbyn, who referenced him at last year’s Labour party conference.
He gave an alternative Queen’s speech last Christmas, and even teamed up with Jack Whitehall at this year’s BRIT Awards, performing ‘Man’s Not Hot’ at the O2 Arena in London.
