Pop queen BILLIE PIPER has married her radio mogul boyfriend CHRIS EVANS in a secret ceremony in LAS VEGAS.
The couple wed at the Little Church Of The West on Vegas Strip yesterday (May 6) afternoon at 1815 local time. They had announced plans to marry at Evans’ Surrey mansion in August, but decided on the £200 affair to avoid intense publicity.
The news was announced this afternoon (May 7) on Evans’ Virgin Radio station. A spokesperson said: “We are delighted to formally announce that Chris Evans and Billie Piper have married.
“Virgin Radio knew of their intention to marry last week, but we were sworn to secrecy,” she added.
“We wish Chris and Billie every happiness and look forward to celebrating with them when Chris returns to the breakfast show next Monday.”
Six guests attended the service, officiated by Reverend James Hamilton, a local minister, including Evans’ friend and television personality Danny Baker, who was best man.
Other celebrity couples who have tied the knot at the church include Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, Noel Gallagher and Meg Mathews and Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford.
