Billy Bragg, Emmylou Harris for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 9

Free event also features Marianne Faithfull, Chieftains and Tom Morello

Billy Bragg, Okkervil River, Tom Morello and Marianne Faithfull are all set to play this year’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 9 festival.

The free event takes place in San Francisco‘s Golden Gate Park on October 2-4. No tickets are necessary.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 9 also includes an education program taking place in aid of the Daniel Pearl Foundation. The foundation was founded in 2002 in memory of journalist Daniel Pearl, who was killed by terrorists in Karachi, Pakistan in 2002.
