Canadian punks will play 11 shows across the UK in November
Billy Talent will play a full UK tour later this year.
The Canadian punks, who are currently readying their fourth studio album ‘Dead Silence’, will play 11 shows on the trek, which takes place in November.
The tour, which is billed as the Rock Sound Riot tour, begins at Manchester Academy on November 6 and runs until November 19 when the band play Bristol’s O2 Academy. The run also includes gigs in Norwich, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Cardiff, Glasgow and Leeds.
‘Dead Silence’ is the Canadian band’s fourth effort as Billy Talent and the fifth of their career to date. It will be released on September 7 and has been produced by the band’s guitarist Ian D’Sa [pictured right].
The record is the band’s first album not to be self-titled, after they simply titled their previous efforts ‘Billy Talent’, ‘Billy Talent II’ and ‘Billy Talent III’. They released their 1999 debut album ‘Watoosh!’ under the band name Pezz
