The cartoon, produced by Hanna-Barbera (of ‘The Flintstones‘, ‘The Jetsons‘ and ‘Scooby Doo‘ fame) , is about three “sugar-coated superheroes”, ‘The Powerpuff Girls‘, who fight crime and save the world in each episode.
Bis’ John Disco said: “It’s completely cheesy, it’s ideal. We’ve done it now so we don’t have to do it again, unless someone asks us and gives us loads of money to do it.”
The band explained that the Hanna-Barbera team had been in touch with the Scottish popsters for some time, and ‘The Powerpuff Girls‘ just seemed like the right project.
“They said we had a week to do the theme song,” said Manda Rin, “and it only took us five minutes.
