The Scottish popsters release a six-track LP in June, and go out on the road to showcase their new songs...

Bis have announced details of a new mini-album and UK tour for June.

The album is called ‘Music For A Stranger World’, and will be released on June 12 through Wiiija. It will feature six tracks, all produced by the band. BisSci-Fi Steven said: “The songs here will not feature on any other Bis release, and this is not a stop-gap of hastily cobbled together cast-offs, so we hope this mini-album will be treated as a ‘proper’ release.”

Speaking about the new material, a spokesperson for the band added the new material was “more striking, more instant, with quite radio friendly but definitely pop”.

The full tracklisting for the album runs: ‘Dead Wrestlers’, ‘Are You Ready?’, ‘How Can We Be Strange?’, ‘I Want It All’, ‘Beats At The Office’ and ‘Punk Rock Points’.

The band have also announced details of a mini UK tour, calling at Manchester Mutz Nutz (June 6), Leeds Cockpit (8), London Garage (10) and Glasgow Planet Peach (11).

Following the tour, the band return to the studio to work on their next full length album, which will be released before the end of the year.
