BJORK is to play a secret show in NEW YORK this week.
Bjork released her latest album ‘Vespertine’ last month (August 27), and has been touring Europe in support of the record.
However, the singer has flown out to the US for an appearance on the American chat show ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ (September 4).
The following night (September 5), Bjork will perform the secret show which is being filmed for a television special. According to the official Bjork website, www.bjork.com, only 100 tickets will be on sale for the event, with a limit of two per person. The venue
will only be announced to those who manage to get tickets for the concert.
This is the second time Bjork has announced a secret New York gig this year. The star premiered material from ‘Vespertine’ at the Riverside Church in Harlem (May 22) to a handful of ticketholders.
Bjork returns to the UK later this month for a show at the English National Opera (September 23).
