Bjork has started recording material for her next album – and it’s likely to come out this year.
According to the star’s official website [url=]bjork.com, the set is being referred to as ‘The Lake Album’, and a soundclip of the Icelandic singer recording in the studio is also available on the site.
A spokesperson for Bjork told NME.COM that fans can expect the follow up to 2001’s ‘Vespertine’ as early as October.
There is no information as yet regarding release dates, although the announcement follows the release of her summer tour dates. Bjork begins a 14-date European tour on May 30 in Valencia before visiting North America, where dates will include an outdoor concert in a “very special location” in the New York area.
