Radiohead frontman THOM YORKE’s collaboration with Bjork on the song ‘I’VE SEEN IT ALL’ is now available for download through her official website [url=]www.bjork.com.
The track is featured in the film ‘Dancer In The Dark’, Bjork‘s first starring role, which won her the Palme D’Or Best Actress award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
At present there are no plans to release ‘I’ve Seen It All’ as a single. Instead it will feature on the ‘Dancer In The Dark’ soundtrack album ‘Selmasongs’, released through One Little Indian on September 15.
In the film, Bjvrk plays a young immigrant mother living in the US struggling to pay for a sight saving operation for her son.
Bjvrk‘s character is prone to flights of fancy, and old musical-style numbers are used to soundtrack her fantasies.
The Bjvrk/Yorke collaboration borrows heavily from the musical tradition, with the addition of the sound of a train moving along the tracks to provide the rhythm.
In other Radiohead news, classic session tracks recorded by the band for BBC Radio One will be featured on Steve Lamacq‘s Evening Session this week, starting tomorrow (July 25) at 8pm.
