Being John Malkovich – which has already opened in the US – was shown last weekend at the London Film Festival and extra screenings had to be organised to cope with the demand. A Phillip K Dick-ian exploration of identity, it stars John Cusak, Catherine Keener and Cameron Diaz; Cusak plays a clerk who finds a corridor into the mind of John Malkovich, who also appears in the movie. It goes on general release next year.
Bjork and the Brodsky Quartet play two acoustic concerts at London Islington Union Chapel on December 9 and 11. Tickets, priced #20 are available from 0171 734 8932.
She will also perform as part of the Voices of Europe 2000 concert in Reykjavik on New Year’s Eve. which will be broadcast as part of the BBC’s Millennium music celebrations. She will perform three songs, according to the organisers.
