Björk is reissuing every one of her nine studio albums to date on a set of limited edition coloured cassettes.
Shortly after revealing a new range of t-shirts, the Icelandic star announced on Twitter that she had “another surprise” for fans, along with a short video clip showing off the nine cassettes.

All of her albums, from 1993’s ‘Debut’ to her most recent work ‘Utopia’, have been given a lavish re-release, with each one coloured to match the original artwork.
Each cassette is on sale individually along with a bundle offer of all nine. They will be released on April 26.
It continues a retro theme for Björk’s new wave of merchandise, as the t-shirts she released last week follow a similar 90s theme. It’s unclear whether there’s anything else in store.

The musician is currently gearing up for ‘Cornucopia’, a live show that she’s described as her “most elaborate stage concert yet.” It begins with the opening at a new arts venue, The Shed, in Manhattan this May.
The artist will be joined by the seven-piece Icelandic flute ensemble Viibra, a harpist and a percussionist, and it is also said that this production, directed by Lucretia Martel, will mark Björk’s first ever live show to be created with theatrical collaborators.
Following the release of her acclaimed 2017 album ‘Utopia‘, Björk embarked on an ambitious and extensive tour – including a stunning headline set at London’s inaugural All Points East Festival last summer.
Meanwhile, Björk’s acting debut in 1990 Icelandic film The Juniper Tree will shortly be returning to cinemas ahead of a digital re-release.
