Foals and Black Kids ‘lose their boners’ at iTunes gig

Bands play one-off show at London's KOKO venue

Black Kids got raunchy during their iTunes festival gig with Foals last night (July 7) at KOKO in London.

During the set Black Kids were in typically raunchy form, with frontman Reggie Youngblood indicating that one particular crowd member had caused him to lose his erection.

The incident occured whe shortly into the show a small object was thrown at singer/guitarist Youngblood.

Youngblood responded by saying, “I’ve just lost my boner,” to the culprit in the crowd. “So, no nookie for you,” he added.

The band played a set of songs largely taken from their debut album, ‘Partie Traumatic’, released on the day of the gig.

Before Black Kids played Foals played a ten-song set including ‘Cassius’ and ‘Hummer’.

Frontman Yannis Philippakis was wearing an Ice Cube T-shirt, and shortly into the set said, “I think it’s fair to say most people here have iPods,” referencing the iTunes festival. “So let’s have a good time,” he continued, before ending the well-received set with ‘Electric Bloom’
